About IUB CORE

IUB CORE (Campus Observatory for Research and Education) is CASSA's rooftop observatory on the Main Academic Building of Independent University, Bangladesh. It hosts both the optical instruments and TART, CASSA's radio telescope. IUB CORE serves both research and educational purposes, providing students and CASSA members with hands-on access to working astronomical instruments in the heart of the Bashundhara campus.

Usage

Access and use

IUB CORE is accessible to certified CASSA members, supervised students, and (for educational sessions) IUB course students under faculty supervision. Access is governed by the CASSA Observatory Manual. Environmental safety thresholds apply as defined in Constitution Appendix G.
