Astrophotography Meets Zine Making: A Durbin WOW Workshop
A two-day collaborative workshop where astrophotography meets handmade zines — open to the public and Durbin volunteers on 3–4 July 2026 at CASSA, IUB.
In alignment with the Durbin WOW project theme, we’re excited to announce a collaborative workshop: Astrophotography Meets Zine Making.
Hosted at the Center for Astronomy, Space Science and Astrophysics (CASSA) on 3–4 July, this unique event blends the science of astrophotography with the artistic expression of zine-making. Organized in collaboration with the HerStory Foundation and presented by Dhaka Zine Mela, participants will receive hands-on training to create distinctive zine art products using real astrophotography images. Final artworks will be proudly displayed at the final exhibition of the Durbin WOW project this August!
The workshop is open to both Durbin volunteers and interested members of the public.
