We are thrilled to host a local Watch Party for the Rubin First Look — the global unveiling of the very first images from the Vera C. Rubin Observatory! 🌠 This marks the dawn of a new era in astronomy, and you can witness it live with the global science community.

08:00	Guests arrive at CASSA office and Dr. Asad introduces the program
08:15	”Bringing the Night Sky to Life” — an interactive (with Q&A) introduction (with slides) to the Rubin observatory
08:45	A demonstration of the small telescopes of Durbin at CASSA office
09:00	Rubin First Look Unveiling Event livestream begins
10:30	Q&A about the livestream and about the future of Rubin
