Final presentation

1. Content (slides)

  1. Use Google Slides.
  2. In Slide 1, give names of all the group members and a title of your whole presentation.
  3. Each student creates one part of the slides. If there are 5 group members, there will be 5 parts.
  4. Each part should have its own title slide with a title and the name of the student who will be graded for that part.
  5. Do not put too much text on the slides. Use
    1. Diagrams / figures / graphs
    2. Short bullet points
  6. In each part, create slides on the sections of the report that you have written. If you cannot cover all 6 experiments in 5 minutes, then select a subset, maybe 4.
    1. Introduction and theory: focus on the most important equations. Describe the goal of the experiment based on those equations. For example, in Experiment 2, only equation determines the whole experiment.
    2. Setup / data and method: focus on what you actually did during the classes. Explain the procedure using a diagram.
    3. Analysis and calculation: focus on the final results, graphs. You can also give a few example codes.
    4. Discussion and conclusion: focus on the problems in each experiment, and comment on how good (satisfying) your results were.

2. Presentation

  1. Presentation should match with the slides.
  2. Do not read directly from the slides. Use the bullet points and figures from the slide, but speak spontaneously.
  3. Do not read from notes, speak spontaneously.
  4. Must be in English.
