1. Venue
Friends In Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is a development organization established in 1979. The basic objectives of the organization are to empower the disadvantaged women, men and children to contribute in the reduction of poverty, protection and regeneration of eco-system and environment. Approaches include education, social organization building, financial service, health, livelihood and food security etc.

4. Presentations and Report
4.1 Survey questionnaire
The questionnaire has 29 questions separated in 4 sections:
- Demographic status: only 1 question with a table
- Social status: education, gender, changes after liberation
- Economic status: family income, housing, lands and properties, agriculture, produces, facilities, animals
- Environment and health: water, toilet, cooking, fuel, healthcare, vaccination
4.2 Final Report
Each group has to submit a single report with hard (book) binding. The report should have 4, 5 or 6 chapters depending on the number of students. Each chapter must be written by an individual student independently and the grading a student will depend on the chapter written by the student. The final report does not have any group marking, it is completely individual.

* At the end of every day, the students have to show their physical diaries to the monitors so that they can grade them on a daily basis.
6. Rules
6.1 Resulting in F grade
- Possession or use of drugs or alcohol
- Sexual harassment or misconduct
- Smoking in the village during field visits
- Going outside the premises without permission from the coordinator
- Arranging or participating in games that involve throwing water or color
- Flying fanush or fireworks
6.2 Resulting in bad grades
- Misbehavior with fellow students, monitors or faculties
- Not respecting the rural culture and norms
- Smoking outside the designated smoking zones
- Not submitting the journal form every day on time
- Not wearing IUB ID card regularly
6.3 Cautions
- Do not enter a village or home alone, always go with your group
- Appropriate clothes inside the premises, where things a bit more relaxed
- Village-appropriate clothes during field visits
- Only parents can visit, but only on the parents’ day
- Going out of the premises with the parents on parents’ day not allowed
- Security of expensive cameras is your own responsibility
- Do not take someone’s picture without their consent
