AST 301: Introduction to Astrophysics

1. Rationale
The course gives an overall introduction to astrophysics using the physics and astronomy of stars. Stars are the most ancient objects of study in astronomy and they can be used to understand most of the basics of astrophysics. An astronomer who knows her stars well will be able to learn his galaxies and cosmology well as well.
