I am an astronomer and assistant professor and the founding director of Computational & Observational Astronomy Lab (COALab) at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). I did a PhD in radio astronomy from Kapteyn Astronomical Institute, University of Groningen, The Netherlands and a postdoc at the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory before joining IUB in Jan 2020.
My research focusses on 21-cm cosmology, clusters of galaxies, radio astronomy antennas and machine learning in astronomy. Aside from research, I teach courses on astronomy and astrophysics and conduct outreach activities for the general public.
