SUMMARY:Zoom Q&A session on Astronomy PhD admission for Bangladeshi students
DESCRIPTION:Many Bangladeshi astronomers are currently engaged in research and teaching positions in various countries\, including many PhD\, postdoc\, and faculty members. On Saturday\, October 26\, at 8:30 PM\, I will be participating in an online panel discussion with five people from North American to talk about opportunities for pursuing a PhD in astronomy abroad\, specifically for Bangladeshi students. \nThe panel discussion is organized by Shajib\, a postdoc at the University of Chicago. Joining the panel will also be Lammim\, a postdoc at the University of Waterloo in Canada; Lamiya\, a faculty member at Wellesley College\, USA; Pritom\, a postdoc at UCLA; and Niranjan\, a PhD student at the University of Connecticut. \nRegistration link is available on Shajib’s website: https://www.astrobridge.org/events.
