Follow the tips below to maximize your score in these three categories. ==== Content (8 Marks) ==== This score reflects the informativeness, orderliness, and organization of your slides. * **Curated Information:** Do not attempt to cover every class detail. Select the most interesting points within your topic that you can summarize effectively. * **Core Concepts:** Ensure you do not skip the fundamental points discussed during the course sessions. * **Individual Branding:** Your specific title slide must clearly state your name and the title of your assigned part. * **Conciseness:** Avoid long sentences and paragraphs; use only bullet points or numbered lists. * **Authenticity:** Demonstrate learning from the course materials rather than random websites or AI-generated summaries. * **Information Density:** Maintain a balance; ensure there is neither too much nor too little information on a single slide. * **Visual Aids:** Use explanatory images and diagrams. You are encouraged to copy and paste relevant infographics directly from the course webpages. ==== Delivery (8 Marks) ==== This score reflects your preparedness, readiness, and ability to convey the material. * **Language:** The verbal presentation must be conducted entirely in English. * **Preparedness:** Practice your delivery beforehand so your speech is fluid and confident. * **Relevance:** While a slide is visible, speak specifically about its content rather than unrelated information. * **Structure:** Follow the logical flow of the bullet points and lists displayed on your slides. * **Visual Integration:** Walk the audience through your images and diagrams carefully. * **Streamlining:** Only include slides you intend to present; do not skip over unnecessary "filler" slides. * **Punctuality:** You must conclude your part within the allotted time. ==== Interaction (8 Marks) ==== This score reflects your engagement with the screen, the audience, and your professional body language. * **Dual Focus:** Divide your attention between your slides (to point out details) and the audience. * **Spontaneity:** Do not read from a phone, laptop, or paper. Speak naturally and spontaneously. * **Movement:** Avoid standing still in one spot. Move around to point toward different sections of the screen. * **Engagement:** If you prefer to stay in one area, you must still look at the slides and make eye contact with the audience periodically. * **Gestures:** Use natural hand movements to emphasize your points and engage the room.
